facebook is making me angry again. why. does. nobody. speak. fucking. english.
this i find particularly infuriating, then is NOT a synonym for than
case in point: “I would rather eat a nice piece of cake then suck off a horse.”
is not the same as “I would rather eat a nice piece of cake than suck off a horse.”
The former implying that you would prefer to wait until you finished your cake before you suck the horse off as in: ”Sure, I’d love to suck off that horny stallion with the raging boner, but not until i finish my cake.”
Whereas the latter of course indicates your preference for eating the nice cake as opposed to sucking off the horse, i.e. ”No thank you, I would prefer not to perform oral sex on that horse and instead i shall partake in a nice piece of cake.”
conclusion: then is time sequence, than is fucking comparative! comprende? ka-motherfucking-pish?
